The episode begins with Raj Didi disturbing Ishani while she is studying. She asks Ishani if she misses college. Ishani recalls Anurag’s lectures and admits that, being someone who loves studying, it’s natural for her to miss college. Raj Didi remarks that the college has many good professors.
Meanwhile, Shashwat says he has no objection if Ishani and Anurag share only a student–professor relationship. In that case, he may even allow Ishani to return to college so Anurag can witness his generosity. But if there’s more to it, then things will change. At the same time, Nandini tells Anurag not to interfere between a husband and wife. Anurag counters, saying she is the one interfering. He questions why she filed a complaint against him when they hadn’t met after the party, and then reveals that he intends to withdraw the defamation case—for Ishani’s sake.
Shashwat realizes how deeply Anurag loves Ishani. He contemplates finding either his old love or a new one. Anurag confronts him, saying he should be ashamed to think about Ishani in such a way. He also criticizes Nandini, asking why she won’t support Ishani as a fellow woman. But Nandini insists that it’s a matter between husband and wife and adds that, as Shashwat’s bhabhi, she has a place in the family—but questions Anurag’s role in Ishani’s life. Shashwat then challenges Anurag, saying he wants to see how Ishani reacts when she meets him again. Nandini hands Anurag Yash’s wedding invitation and urges him to attend.
Later, Nandini tells Shashwat that distributing wedding invitations isn’t an easy task. Shashwat replies that since it’s his son’s marriage, it’s his responsibility. Nandini teases that he talks as though she were his wife. Shashwat subtly hints that he wishes that were true. Surprised, Nandini asks if he’s flirting, but he admits he is actually confessing his feelings. She asks if they have any future together. Shashwat reminds her that Ishani is still his legal wife, so they must handle things carefully. Nandini assures him that she trusts him, which is why she stands by him. Shashwat then tells her he needs time to separate Ishani from his life.
Elsewhere, Pihu calls Anurag by his name, crossing boundaries. Anurag sternly scolds her. She apologizes and explains that she came because she had doubts about her studies, despite Yash’s wedding being near. She suggests they sit in the cafeteria to discuss the topic for an hour, even making him acknowledge that she is beautiful. Annoyed, Anurag tells her to stop wasting time and reminds her that love cannot be forced. Pihu bursts into tears. He gently advises her not to forget they are in college and reassures her that one day she will meet someone who truly deserves her love.
Back with Shashwat and Nandini, Shashwat insists there is definitely something between Anurag and Ishani, and vows to destroy Anurag when the truth comes out. Nandini reminds him that guests will be present at the wedding, but Shashwat is determined to expose Anurag.
Meanwhile, Ishani asks Raj Didi what she really wants to say. Raj Didi questions how long Ishani plans to continue studying. Ishani replies that she wants to graduate. Raj Didi accuses her of being greedy. But Ishani defends herself, saying it’s not greed—she simply wants to feel complete.
