The episode begins with Jhanak telling Nutan and Parashar that while Rishi may not have accepted her as his wife, her heart has already accepted him as her husband. Overcome with emotion, she starts to cry. Parashar asks if that means his daughter will spend her entire life living with them in sorrow, while Nutan remarks that both she and Jhanak share the same fate.
Jhanak then tells Nutan that she will continue her studies and prove herself to everyone, in a place where she can achieve anything. Parashar asks who she wants to prove herself to, and Jhanak replies, “To everyone.” But Parashar insists that her true intention is to prove herself to Rishi. Jhanak denies this.
Parashar says Rishi should answer his questions, but Jhanak pleads with him not to confront Rishi, insisting it’s not his fault. She explains that while Rishi’s family is ready to accept her, Rishi himself is in love with Aditi and was forced by the villagers into marriage. Therefore, they shouldn’t blame Rishi or his family. She repeatedly asks Parashar not to speak against Rishi. Nutan points out that Jhanak must be in love with Rishi, which is why she refuses to hear anything negative about him. Parashar says Rishi should love her since he is married to her, but Jhanak questions why he would make such a statement. Both Parashar and Nutan are left speechless.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Rishi and his family are anxious about Dadabhai’s condition. They discuss the surgery and the doctor’s decision. Putul asks permission to see Dadabhai, but her sister blames her for his worsening health. Putul defends herself, and the family advises them not to argue. They also talk about the sudden and drastic change in Dadabhai’s medical reports before finally allowing Putul to see him.
Upon meeting her father, Putul breaks down, blaming herself for his condition. Dadabhai tells her not to and reassures her that he will recover. He also asks her to take care of her mother if something happens to him, urging her to be practical. Putul cries and begs him not to say such things.
Back in the village, Nutan notices Jhanak lost in thought and encourages her to chase her dreams. They discuss Rishi and his family. Jhanak tells Nutan she doesn’t love Rishi and mentions Dadabhai’s efforts to see her. Nutan insists that Rishi will come back to her because she truly loves him. Jhanak then asks why, if that’s true, Nutan’s own husband never returned. Nutan is silenced, recalling her last conversation with Anirudha and feeling sad. Jhanak says she doesn’t believe in such notions and hopes Rishi marries Aditi. She also shares the special bond she has with Dadabhai.
At the hospital, Dadabhai asks Putul to bring his cheque book so that Jhanak can be given money for her hostel stay in Kolkata while pursuing her studies. He also asks Putul to tell Jhanak to meet him. When Putul worries about Rishi’s reaction, Dadabhai assures her that Rishi won’t object, as the hospital is not private property.
Meanwhile, Jhanak tells Nutan she will never marry anyone else because she has wholeheartedly accepted her marriage to Rishi. Nutan becomes emotional.
