The episode opens with Jhanak expressing her wish to open a clinic in Simulboni once she becomes a doctor. Sakhi asks her if Rishi hasn’t come and suggests calling him. However, Sakhi reveals that everyone in the village already knows about Rishi’s second marriage to Aditi. She questions how Rishi could marry another woman and tells Jhanak she should have stayed in Kolkata to fight for her rights. Jhanak calmly replies that she has no such rights and believes forcing Rishi into marriage was wrong, while his choice to marry Aditi was justified.
Mangal asks why Rishi once treated Jhanak so kindly. Jhanak confesses that she had asked him to act and never truly accepted him as her husband. Shocked, Parashar listens as Jhanak declares she only wants to focus on her studies and wants no further discussion about Rishi. Parashar supports her decision, saying he trusts her completely. When Dhamu offers to bring Rishi back, Jhanak firmly refuses, saying no marriage can survive without love. Even though Rishi once filled her forehead with vermilion, she insists that the law doesn’t recognize forced marriages.
Meanwhile, Aditi arrives at Rishi’s house with Arshi and Rishi. Abhimanyu thanks Arshi for convincing Aditi to come, though Arshi clarifies she only did so after Rishi apologized. Aditi warns Rishi that this is his last chance. Rishi tells her that Jhanak has left, hoping this will bring peace. Tanushri assures Aditi that Jhanak won’t return, but Aditi senses Rishi’s unease and tells him to control his emotions. Neelu reminds him not to let ego damage his marriage, while Arshi warns him to respect Aditi completely.
Dadabhai mentions that Jhanak will likely earn a scholarship and doesn’t need anyone’s support. Arshi says Jhanak should never return to their lives again. Rishi agrees, claiming he now wants to focus on his wife and family. Aditi insists that Rishi must stay away from Jhanak, while others in the family support her stance.
Later, in Simulboni, Parashar wonders why Rishi couldn’t accept Jhanak. Jhanak replies that not everyone is capable of loving her, and she wants to dedicate herself to helping the village instead. Parashar advises her to stay strong and never contact Rishi again. Jhanak agrees, saying their chapter is closed forever. When Mangal angrily threatens Rishi, Jhanak stops him, asking everyone to drop the matter. Parashar changes the topic and asks Sakhi to prepare food for Jhanak. As she leaves, Jhanak silently vows never to see Rishi again.
