The episode opens with Lakshmi and Karthik embracing joyfully. Enraged, Jia lashes out, accusing Lakshmi, “You stole Karthik from me, and I won’t let you get away with it!” Lakshmi calmly replies, “So you’ve finally admitted the truth.” Jia screams in anger, but the police step in and restrain her. The judge then delivers the verdict—Karthik is declared innocent, and Jia is taken into custody. A wave of relief and happiness washes over everyone.
Outside the courthouse, Karthik smiles as crowds cheer his name, celebrating his proven innocence. Meanwhile, Lakshmi spots Prema leaving contentedly in a car, and something about her demeanor raises Lakshmi’s suspicions. Noticing her concern, Karthik asks what’s wrong. Lakshmi responds, “Something feels off. If Jia has been punished, why does her mother Prema look so pleased?” Karthik reassures her, telling her not to overthink it, and they decide to head home for some much-needed peace. The media praises Lakshmi for successfully defending Karthik and proving his innocence.
At home, Lakshmi enters Karthik’s room, calling out to him. She finds a note that reads, “How are you?” followed by another saying, “Seems like you’ve forgotten me.” Confused, she calls out, “Who’s here?” Suddenly, someone sneaks up behind her and blindfolds her.
Lakshmi is led into a beautifully decorated room, where she’s surprised to find Karthik. She scolds him playfully for scaring her, but he smiles and asks her to close her eyes for a surprise. When she opens them, she sees glowing lamps floating in the sky, spelling out “I LOVE YOU.” Overwhelmed, Lakshmi beams with joy. Karthik confesses, “I’m madly in love with you, Lakshmi. I can’t imagine life without you.” He proposes, saying, “I love you.” When she doesn’t respond immediately, he asks why she’s silent. Lakshmi teases, “I’m feeling sleepy.” Karthik laughs and says, “I’m not going anywhere until you say it back. Just wait and watch!”
Later, Karthik pretends something got into his eye and heads to the washroom, asking Lakshmi to read a message on his phone. She checks it and sees it says “I love you.” Casually, she responds, “That’s not important. You can read it tomorrow.” Karthik returns, grinning, “I’ll make you say it—I know you love me.” Lakshmi smirks and replies, “We’ll see.”
Meanwhile, Gayatri consults a pandit with Karthik’s horoscope. The pandit warns her that Karthik may soon be separated from his mother. Alarmed, Gayatri vows to prevent that at all costs.
Back at home, Lakshmi brings a lunchbox for Karthik and asks if he’s working on a new song. He replies it’s an old one and pretends to forget the lyrics. Lakshmi starts singing and ends with “I love you.” Realizing what she just said, she becomes flustered. Karthik laughs, teasing her for losing the challenge. At last, they confess their love to each other with joy.
Karthik says, “Today’s special—we should celebrate it in a special way.” Lakshmi agrees, promising to finish her kitchen chores and return quickly. Karthik smiles, urging her to hurry back. She returns his smile and walks away.
