The episode opens with Kapil furiously breaking things in his room. Pratima stops him, saying that ever since Monisha entered his life, he has been losing control again. Kapil reveals that Monisha has joined Pehla Swad as the Sales Head. In his frustration, he crushes a glass in his hand. Pratima asks why he’s hurting himself. Kapil says, “I want to tell Mangal the truth. She may get angry, but she’ll understand. You’re the one stopping me.” Pratima reminds him that even last time, it was hard to prove his innocence, and this time Mangal might not believe him at all—so it’s better not to tell her. Kapil warns that delaying will only make things worse.
Meanwhile, Akshat tells Ishana to make the rakhi properly or she won’t get a gift, then leaves. Mangal helps Ishana and says she also wants one from her. Kapil comes home, and Mangal greets him warmly. Akshat teases Ishana, and they run off, prompting Mangal to follow. Seeing Kapil alone, Monisha decides to get his attention and puts water on the stove to boil.
Kapil wonders how Mangal will react to the truth. Monisha deliberately spills the hot water on her hand and cries out in pain, thinking, “Kapil will come running—he still has feelings for me.” Adit notices Kapil heading towards Monisha and decides to expose them to Mangal.
However, Mangal reaches Monisha first and asks how the accident happened. Monisha pretends not to know. Mangal says she’s glad Kapil heard her voice and sent her there. Adit watches from a distance. Mangal advises Monisha to apply ice to the burn.
Later, Mangal asks Kapil what he wanted to talk about, but he says they’ll discuss it later and walks away. Mangal tells Kusum she plans to cook Lakshmi’s favourite food since she’s coming after a long time. Kusum praises her. When Mangal sees Monisha, she asks if she needs anything. Monisha says she’s going to get water. Kusum suggests they ask Monisha to leave.
Mangal tells Adit that since Monisha is fine and has a job, it’s better to ask her to move out. Adit, however, thinks about keeping her there until he can expose her and Kapil. He gets a call from Sowmya, and Mangal asks if Sowmya knows Monisha is staying here. Adit lies, saying she does. When Mangal urges him to answer the call, he brushes it off. Kusum remains firm that Monisha should leave.
Monisha then joins them. Mangal politely says not to take it the wrong way, and Monisha agrees to shift to the factory ladies’ hostel. She requests to stay one more day so she can celebrate Rakhi with them. Mangal agrees. Adit thinks one day is enough to expose Monisha and Kapil. Seeing Sowmya calling repeatedly, he steps aside, knowing she will be furious if she finds out about Monisha.
Mangal prepares gifts as Akshat and Ishana tease each other. She stops them and asks for help since Lakshmi Massi is visiting. Kusum and Sudesh talk about the strong bond between Mangal and Lakshmi, and Kusum expresses excitement to meet Gayatri. A delivery man brings Mangal a parcel filled with her favourite things from her favourite places—sent by Lakshmi. Soon, Lakshmi arrives, and Mangal greets her with a joyful hug.
