The episode begins with Umesh questioning Lakshmi about how the house got registered in Jia’s name when it legally belongs to him. Lakshmi explains that Jia used fraudulent means and plans to sell the house and run away with Karthik. Gayatri realizes that Karthik agreed to Jia’s terms only as a sacrifice. When Jia tries to defend herself, Karthik throws her out. Lakshmi embraces Karthik, and the family is relieved to see them united.
Later, Jia approaches Lakshmi in disguise, pretending to be someone else. She mentions the lawyer has arrived to finalize the deal. Just as Jia is about to sign the papers, Gayatri arrives, stops her, slaps her, and tears the documents, declaring she cannot sell the house. Lakshmi silently regrets that if Gayatri had come a bit later, the house would have already been transferred to her father. Gayatri then throws the disguised Lakshmi and Raghuveer out of the house. As they try to explain, Karthik signals them to remain silent and closes the door on them.
Gayatri then confronts Karthik, asking if he agreed to marry Jia under pressure. She declares she won’t let Jia manipulate him. But Karthik defends Jia and says he will marry her. Internally, he reminds himself to continue the act until the house is transferred to his father. He leaves. Gayatri questions Jia about her influence on Karthik. Jia claims she has no magic but insists she’ll find new buyers for the house and warns Gayatri to get used to poverty. She leaves, and Gayatri breaks down. Umesh reminds her that Lakshmi had warned her about Jia, but she didn’t listen. Now she must face the consequences of choosing Jia over Lakshmi.
Elsewhere, Lakshmi tells Raghuveer that they need a new plan. Suddenly, they hear a car and see Karthik arriving. He warns them that if they don’t act fast, they’ll lose everything. As they all go inside, it’s revealed that Jia was hiding in Karthik’s car and has followed them.
Jia sees Lakshmi hugging Karthik and realizes that Lakshmi and Raghuveer have been deceiving her in disguise. She acknowledges that Lakshmi won’t give up easily and silently thanks Gayatri for unintentionally exposing the truth. Jia then decides to break Raghuveer’s support for Lakshmi.
Lakshmi and Karthik ask Raghuveer to take care of Antara and Veda. Raghuveer informs them that Antara’s condition is improving and a mental health facility has agreed to admit her. Just then, they hear a glass shatter. Antara is missing from her room. They search frantically and eventually, Lakshmi finds Antara unconscious outside. She calls Raghuveer, who agrees that he must stay back and care for Antara while Lakshmi and Karthik deal with Jia.
Later, while Lakshmi is cutting an apple, Gayatri approaches her and expresses relief at her return. She admits Jia is truly dangerous and pleads with Lakshmi to save Karthik. At that moment, Lakshmi points a knife at her.
