The episode opens with Karthik pleading before Krishna Ji, asking why He is testing His devotee and punishing Lakshmi. With folded hands, he says, “Lakshmi always believed You stand with us in every problem. Please don’t break her faith. If You want, take my life, but save hers.” Gayatri arrives and finds Karthik weeping in front of God for Lakshmi’s life. She comforts him, assuring him that Lakshmi will be fine. In tears, Karthik tells her the doctor has warned there are chances Lakshmi might be paralyzed, as the stab wound affected her spinal cord. Gayatri consoles him with hope.
Inside the operation theatre, doctors struggle to save Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Karthik imagines Lakshmi appearing before him, telling him she doesn’t have much time left and asking him to take care of himself. Devastated, Karthik pleads with her not to leave, saying he cannot live without her. But Lakshmi insists their journey ends here and walks away. Shaken, Karthik wakes from this nightmare and shares it with Gayatri, who reassures him that nothing will happen to Lakshmi.
Karthik rushes to the operation room just as the doctor comes out. The doctor informs him that Lakshmi is not paralyzed, but her uterus was severely damaged in the attack, making it impossible for her to conceive. Karthik is shattered by the news, while Gayatri secretly feels relieved. The doctor advises them not to tell Lakshmi immediately, as the shock could be too much for her. Remembering Lakshmi’s dream of becoming a mother, Karthik breaks down. Gayatri consoles him again.
Later, the nurse allows Karthik to meet Lakshmi. Unaware of the truth, Lakshmi clings to him and asks him never to leave her. Smiling with hope, she says they will soon be blessed with a child. Karthik hides his pain, tells her to rest, and avoids explaining the tears in his eyes. Just then, the nurse interrupts, asking them to complete the discharge formalities.
Afterward, Karthik calls Umesh and informs him of Lakshmi’s condition, requesting that he not share the truth with anyone. Umesh agrees but questions Krishna Ji for giving Lakshmi such sorrow.
When Lakshmi returns home, Umesh warmly welcomes her. She reminds him of his promise to place Bal Gopal in her lap as a blessing for motherhood and insists he perform the ritual. Umesh hesitates, but Lakshmi remains adamant, and Sanjana also encourages him. Fighting back tears, Umesh, along with Gayatri, places the idol of Bal Gopal in Lakshmi’s saree pallu. Lakshmi beams with happiness, blissfully unaware of the heartbreaking reality.
