The episode begins with Lakshmi arriving at Karthik’s house. She believes that Karthik could never accept anyone else as his wife.
Veda runs up and hugs Lakshmi. Surprised, Lakshmi asks why she came. Veda explains that she had a bad dream about Lakshmi leaving her, and when she woke up and didn’t find Lakshmi beside her, she came looking. Raghuveer arrives and tries to take Veda away, but Veda insists on staying with Lakshmi. Raghuveer apologizes to Lakshmi and gently asks if she could put Veda to sleep, saying that otherwise, she’ll continue to be restless. Lakshmi agrees and takes Veda with her. Karthik watches everything unfold.
Afterward, Karthik confronts Raghuveer, asking why the child is calling Lakshmi her mother. Raghuveer explains that Lakshmi has adopted Veda and has given her the love of a mother. He adds that Veda and he gave Lakshmi the family she always longed for. Raghuveer urges Karthik to let go of the past and accept that Lakshmi has moved on. Karthik refuses to believe it, accusing Raghuveer of lying.
To prove his point, Raghuveer shows Karthik pictures of him and Lakshmi together. He asks if Karthik believes those moments are fake too. He also reminds him of the undeniable love between Veda and Lakshmi, asking if that’s also a lie. Raghuveer firmly tells Karthik to move on and stop holding onto Lakshmi.
Just then, Lakshmi walks in. Karthik coldly tells her he doesn’t want to see her face and orders her to leave. He goes inside and locks the door. Lakshmi pleads with him to open it, saying she only came to talk. Karthik repeats that he wants nothing to do with her and insists she get out.
Raghuveer steps in, telling Lakshmi it’s obvious Karthik doesn’t want to talk. He says he can’t bear to see her insulted and urges her to come with him. As they walk away, Lakshmi questions him about what he and Karthik were discussing. Raghuveer tells her that Karthik lashed out for bringing her there and claimed to have moved on with Jia. Lakshmi is stunned, unable to believe Karthik would say that. Raghuveer insists it’s the truth and takes her away. Jia secretly watches everything from behind a wall.
Later, Jia approaches Karthik and confirms if it really was Lakshmi who had come. She mocks Lakshmi, reminding Karthik that she had always told him his love was one-sided. Jia points out how much he suffered in Lakshmi’s absence, while Lakshmi moved on and married someone else. Karthik remains silent. Without saying a word, he goes with Jia to their pre-wedding photoshoot and poses for pictures.
That night, Raghuveer puts Veda to sleep and notices Lakshmi sitting emotionally. He gently advises her to forget Karthik. Lakshmi refuses, saying she can’t believe he has truly forgotten her. Raghuveer reminds her of what happened at Karthik’s house and urges her to accept the truth—that Karthik has moved on with Jia. He leaves.
Still unconvinced, Lakshmi insists Karthik hasn’t let go of her. She watches over sleeping Veda and then quietly leaves, determined to speak with Karthik.
