The episode begins with the investors mistakenly assuming that Mannat is Vikrant’s wife, which angers Mallika. During a group photo, Mannat loses her balance and nearly falls into the swimming pool, but Vikrant catches her, intensifying Mallika’s jealousy. The investors request a sample within two days, and Mannat agrees without consulting Vikrant, disappointing him. They again refer to her as Vikrant’s wife. Mannat clarifies that she is Mannat Kanha, not Mannat Saluja. The investors assume she’s unwilling to change her surname, but Mannat firmly states she is not his wife. After they leave, Vikrant questions how she could commit to such a deadline. Mannat suggests they use creativity and teamwork, since both are good cooks.
Mallika confronts Vikrant, asking why he didn’t correct the investors about Mannat. Mannat intervenes, saying she already did. Mallika, in a fit of anger, tries to push Mannat into the pool, but ends up falling in herself when Vikrant pulls Mannat to safety.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya waits to meet Varun’s boss while Shalini secretly watches her. She notices the man’s hands but doesn’t realize he’s the boss. Something about him triggers a past memory, and she hides. Shalini becomes suspicious of her behavior.
Vikrant rushes to get a towel for Mallika. She begins arguing with Mannat, who asks her to leave without creating a scene. Mallika demands a private, romantic dinner setup from the waiter. Mannat tells the waiter to ignore her antics, saying the place now belongs to her, not Aishwarya. She asks Mallika to leave. Mallika challenges her, and Mannat responds that someone has to put Mallika in her place. When Mallika demands that Mannat cook for her, Mannat firmly refuses, stating she’s not her servant.
Vikrant arrives, and Mallika pressures him to leave with her. Mannat says he’ll stay and finish the work. When Mallika insults Vikrant, Mannat loses her temper and warns her not to speak to him that way. She declares she won’t allow anyone to disrespect her partner or interfere with their work. Mallika continues arguing, prompting Vikrant to lose his cool. He warns her to leave immediately or lose his respect.
Elsewhere, Varun calls Aishwarya to say his boss missed the flight and will now meet her the next day. He jokes to his boss that Aishwarya panicked upon just seeing his hand—so what will happen when she sees him in person? The boss smirks and says he won’t fight this battle directly—he knows who will fight it for him.
Later, Kiran arranges a Teej puja for Mallika. Neetu wants to consult Aishwarya, but Deepak says she’s not home. Mallika returns soaked in the rain. Neetu asks what happened, and Mallika lies, saying Vikrant had an urgent investor meeting and she forgot her umbrella. Kiran considers her lucky that Vikrant secured a new investment. Neetu encourages her to keep a fast for Vikrant. Kiran explains that it’s a Nirjala Vrat, meaning no food or water all day. Mallika agrees, saying she’ll do anything for Vikrant. Neetu hugs her. Mallika thinks to herself that though Mannat is alone, her own family stands with her.
Aishwarya returns quietly and goes to her room. Later, Vikrant questions Mannat about the commotion and accuses her of creating drama. Mannat explains she only wanted to cook. Vikrant angrily asks how she could treat his wife that way. Mannat reminds him she has known Mallika since college and knows how to handle her. She tries to change the topic.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya struggles with her injury. Mallika storms in, venting her frustration and blaming Aishwarya for everything, especially for transferring her shares to Mannat. Aishwarya asks for medicine, but Mallika ignores her. Aishwarya regrets bringing Mannat into her life.
Back in the kitchen, Mannat tries to distract Vikrant with cooking, which reminds him of their sweet memories.
