The episode begins with Ishaan asking Nayanika if they can meet. Nayanika replies that she will see after finishing her work. She then asks about his flight schedule, and Ishaan tells her that his flight is late at night.
Meanwhile, Ujjaini asks Shisho if he is still upset with her and refuses to talk. She reminds him that she has already apologized to Nayanika. However, Shisho says she also owes Ishaan an apology. He asks where Nayanika will receive the best treatment, pointing out that Mumbai offers better medical care. Ujjaini questions who will look after Nayanika in Mumbai. Shisho replies that Ishaan is there. Ujjaini is shocked and asks if he has lost his mind. She argues that just because Ishaan helped Nayanika once does not mean he will put his own commitments aside for her. She also says she cannot hand over responsibility for her mother to someone else.
At the hospital, the senior doctor advises Nayanika to continue her treatment in Mumbai and assures her that he will approve her leave. Nayanika says she has not made a decision yet. After completing her work, she leaves the hospital.
Later, Nayanika meets Ishaan in his hotel room. Ishaan notices that she looks exhausted and asks what he should order for her to eat. He once again encourages her to continue her treatment in Mumbai, but Nayanika tells him she has not decided yet. At the same time, Ujjaini and Shisho arrive at the hotel and learn that Ishaan already has a guest in his room.
Elsewhere, Angana is upset with Neil for not helping with the birthday party preparations. She points out that he is busy checking Nayanika’s medical reports even though Nayanika would never accept his help. Angana complains that both her husband and son care too much about Nayanika. Neil explains that Nayanika accepted Ishaan’s help only because she was unwell. Angana refuses to believe that and says the entire family has started taking Ishaan and Nayanika’s relationship seriously. She even mentions that Ujjaini seems to support the idea. Neil eventually agrees to accompany her to meet the decorator.
Back at the hotel, Ishaan notices that Nayanika is feeling dizzy and asks her to rest. Exhausted, Nayanika falls asleep in his room. Soon after, Ujjaini and Shisho meet Ishaan. Ujjaini apologizes to him, but Ishaan tells her that she should never have insulted Nayanika. Shisho agrees with him. Ujjaini explains that she behaves that way because she is extremely protective of Nayanika, who is the only family she has. Ishaan reminds her that she has friends and a career, but Nayanika has very little besides her talent. He reveals that Nayanika is a gifted lyricist and keeps all her songs in a red diary. Surprised, Ujjaini admits that she never knew about Nayanika’s passion for writing.
Meanwhile, Nayanika’s family discusses her illness and Ujjaini’s concerns. Shuboo suggests bringing Nayanika to stay with them until her treatment is completed.
Later, Ishaan asks Ujjaini what she has decided about Nayanika’s treatment. Ujjaini says Neil has no right to treat Nayanika after hurting her so deeply and insists that Nayanika would never agree to receive treatment from him. Ishaan once again stresses that Mumbai is the best option for her treatment. Ujjaini worries because her exams are approaching and she is unsure how everything will be managed. Ishaan reassures her by saying that Nayanika’s family is unlikely to take proper care of her even if she stays in Kolkata. He offers to let Ujjaini stay at his house while Nayanika undergoes treatment in Mumbai. After thinking it over, Ujjaini agrees, saying that Nayanika’s treatment is her top priority and she is ready to fight anyone for her well-being. Just then, she notices Nayanika’s bag and recognizes it. When she asks about it, Ishaan tells her that Nayanika is inside the room. Moments later, Nayanika wakes up and calls out to Ishaan.
