The episode opens with Raghav playing the guitar, lost in thought. He recalls Natasha’s words—that he should go to Shanaya only when he can give her his complete, undivided attention. His gaze shifts to Shanaya’s photo, which teeters on the edge of falling.
Meanwhile, Dil struggles with a dilemma—should she reveal the truth or not? Leaving the decision to fate, she plays a game, and the result suggests she should speak out.
Chandan walks in and notices Raghav holding Shanaya’s photo. He remarks on Raghav’s deep love for Shanaya, questioning why he’s set such conditions for her. Raghav explains he had no choice—every adult is hiding the truth from him. Chandan reminds him Shanaya is just a child, but Raghav vents his frustration about the constant voice in his head urging him to uncover the truth before it’s lost forever. Chandan urges him to calm down, but Raghav insists it’s impossible when everyone is keeping secrets from him.
Elsewhere, Dil spots her uncle searching the house and quickly hides. Manu thinks she’s seen someone and asks security to investigate, while Dil’s uncle worries about being caught by the police before finding her.
Saloni argues with Raghav’s mother over breaking a promise to go shopping together, as she now plans to visit her friend Gupta Ji instead. Raghav’s mother, citing the Bhagavad Gita, says breaking a promise is justified if it serves a righteous purpose. Overhearing this, Dil resolves to tell Raghav the truth.
She approaches Raghav and notices his injured hand. Bringing bandages and turmeric from the kitchen, she tends to his wound, her words reminding him of Nandini and lifting his mood. She compliments his voice, and Raghav suggests they play the piano together. Seeing him struggle with his injury, Dil helps, and Raghav feels a rare moment of happiness in her company.
Nearby, Maama hears the piano melody and instantly recognises it as one of Nandini’s songs, suspecting Dil’s presence in the house. Natasha then arrives upstairs, catching sight of Raghav and Dil playing together. Impressed, Raghav praises her piano skills and encourages her to sing, convinced she has a good voice.
Just then, the school calls Natasha, informing her that Shanaya is upset. Natasha explains she’s far from home and tells them to call Shanaya’s father instead.
Raghav begins singing Tu Dhadkan Hai and urges Dil to join him, but a call from the school interrupts—Shanaya is crying. Without hesitation, he rushes out to be with her.
After he leaves, Natasha approaches Dil. Dil apologises, but Natasha assures her there’s no need, since she didn’t actually sing. Natasha claims she just received word from Dil’s mother, saying she is fine, and makes Dil promise not to tell Raghav the truth or sing in front of him. In return, she promises to arrange a meeting between Dil and her mother.
Suspicious, Dil accuses Natasha of lying and trying to separate her from Raghav, saying she doesn’t even know her mother. Natasha denies this and produces one of Nandini’s belongings from her bag as proof, claiming it will convince Dil she truly knows her.
