The episode begins with Aarti making Anjali celebrate Rakhi with Pradeep, Stepney, and others. In the Rajput family, Mehek and Sanya tie Rakhi to Abhay. In the Thakur family, Kavya ties Rakhi to Yuvraj, and in the Rajvanshi family, Sonal ties Rakhi to Ved.
Raghav arrives with Bhajan and Vaibhav. Vaibhav questions Aarti, asking if she feels no shame in addressing her grandfather by his name. Aarti explains that Raghav himself told her not to call him “grandfather,” so she addresses him by his name, adding a pointed remark at Vaibhav.
Aarti then asks Raghav why he has come. Raghav replies that Ganesh—the so-called “symbol of failure” who has never won a case—has filed one against him, so he came to serve them a notice. He throws the notice on Aarti’s face and mocks her for claiming she would secure Anjali’s rights. He challenges Aarti to first prove that Anjali is married to Aman. Turning to Anjali, he asks if she will testify in court that Aman is her husband and whether she is only after money.
Raghav takes a handful of cash from Vaibhav and sarcastically asks Anjali how much she wants. Anjali tries to respond but fails to speak. Aarti points out to Anjali that Raghav is insulting her and her relationship with Aman. She then asks Ganesh to read the notice aloud. Ganesh explains that it is a reply to her earlier notice, demanding proof that Anjali is Aman’s wife.
When Aarti asks Ganesh if Anjali and Aman were married, Ganesh confirms it and says he is a witness. The other chawl residents also declare they witnessed the wedding. Raghav counters that they will need proper evidence for court. Bhajan adds that they must also prove Aarti is the legitimate child of Aman and Anjali, since everyone believed her to be dead. Raghav agrees and taunts further.
Aarti retorts that Raghav is the kind of man who would stoop to any level for money—even arguing his own son’s murder case. Angered, Raghav raises his hand to strike her, but Aarti catches it mid-air. Ganesh urges Aarti to let go, reminding her that Raghav is her grandfather. Aarti warns Raghav that if he does not regret humiliating her today, she will ruin his reputation—or else admit she is illegitimate. Raghav and his group leave.
Ganesh consoles Aarti, who says that if Raghav were not her grandfather, she would have taught him a lesson. She ends with another sharp remark about him.
