In today’s episode, Anupama questions why girls are not consulted before their marriages are fixed. She insists that every girl deserves the right to choose her life partner. Prarthana supports her and recalls her own experience—how she returned from college one day only to hear Vasundhara announce that her marriage had been arranged. She shares that she had once dreamed of completing her MBA and supporting Parag. Anupama points out that if families can openly discuss food choices in a restaurant, then why can’t they discuss their daughters’ marriage decisions beforehand.
Vasundhara feels insulted and blames Anupama and Ansh for Prarthana’s divorce. Anupama firmly denies this and instead holds Gautam responsible for her suffering, adding that if Prarthana had met him earlier, she would have known his true nature. She stresses the importance of “marital courtship,” where the boy and girl meet before marriage to understand compatibility.
Vasundhara is shocked by Anupama’s progressive thoughts and mocks her, asking if she wants unlimited meetings between boys and girls. Khyati steps in, questioning Anupama’s own marriage with Anuj. She taunts that Anupama lived with Anuj before marriage in the name of compatibility, and even then, she wasn’t compatible with Vanraj—so what went wrong with Anuj? She demands details about Anupama’s “marital courtship” with Anuj. Anupama is taken aback. Khyati goes further, saying that Prarthana went to counseling with a woman who herself failed in relationships.
Prem tries to stop Khyati, but she silences him. Anupama too asks Prem not to interfere and addresses Khyati directly, saying that if she is so curious, she will share her story another day. For now, the focus should remain on Ansh’s marriage.
Anupama then argues that if Parag’s second marriage is considered valid, then Prarthana’s second marriage is equally valid. Gautam challenges her, saying there is no guarantee Prarthana will be happy with Ansh. Anupama firmly replies that there is one guarantee—Prarthana will never be happy with Gautam. She delivers a powerful lecture on second marriages and women’s independence. Vasundhara taunts that despite her independence, Anupama is still struggling. Anupama counters that she is content, because true happiness comes from not giving up despite struggles. Having tasted limited joy in life, she values it even more.
Anupama then formally invites the Kotharis to Ansh and Prarthana’s wedding. Prarthana also requests their presence. Anupama urges Parag to reconsider his decision.
Meanwhile, at home, Leela worries that Anupama and Prarthana have gone to meet the Kotharis. Pakhi criticizes Anupama for interfering in everything and blames her for creating complications. Preet defends Anupama, but Leela scolds both Pakhi and Preet, asking them to stop fighting.
Later, Prarthana grows anxious, fearing that Parag, Vasundhara, and Khyati might refuse to attend her wedding. Anupama consoles her. On her way back, Anupama stops by “Anuj Ki Rasoi” and is reminded of her past moments with Anuj.
