The episode opens with Dr. Surva informing Pradhan that Neil has recovered and is ready to be discharged.
Vinod asks when Neil will regain his memory. Dr. Surva explains that the swelling in Neil’s brain needs time to subside, which could take days or even months.
Leena firmly declares she won’t allow Savi near Neil.
But Dr. Surva advises the family to let Savi stay with Neil and continue pretending to be his wife, as it’s crucial for his emotional and psychological stability. He warns that removing her from Neil’s life right now could have serious consequences.
Leena, still resistant, questions whether another doctor could treat Neil without involving Savi. Dr. Surva calmly replies that they’re free to seek a second opinion but challenges them to reflect: What’s more important—their dislike for Savi or their love for Neil?
Vinod and Bhushan plead with Leena to agree—for Neil’s sake.
Reluctantly, she gives in. Vinod thanks Dr. Surva and promises that they won’t reveal the truth to Neil.
Back at home, Leena performs a traditional nazar utarna ritual to welcome Neil.
Neil asks her to do the same for Savi and the children. Though hesitant, Leena complies, gives them aarti, and allows them inside.
Leena urges Neil to rest at home until he’s fully recovered, telling him to ring a bell if he needs anything. Neil smiles and replies, “My wife is taking care of me, so there’s no need to worry.”
Later, Amruta brings Neil a glass of hot turmeric milk.
“This is what I used to give you whenever you were sick,” she says. Neil looks confused and asks who she is. Vinod gently explains their relationship. Leena, overwhelmed with emotion, walks away. Neil apologizes for not remembering anything. The family quietly steps out to let him rest.
After lunch, Savi reminds Neil to take his medicine.
He looks at her with a mix of confusion and admiration, thinking, I don’t even remember my wife’s name. She’s so beautiful, and yet I can’t recall anything. He gazes at her.
Walking up to her, Neil softly brushes her hair aside and admits, “I don’t remember your name.” As Savi starts to respond, he stops her and says, “We’ve lived together for years, and now I can’t even recall your name. That makes me feel like a failure. Don’t tell me—I want to remember it myself. Until then, I’ll call you Biwi.” Savi smiles and agrees. Neil adds, “I’m lucky to have such an understanding partner.”
Savi then asks Neil to change his clothes.
He goes to the cupboard, picks out a shirt, and holds it up for her approval. She nods. Neil then notices that none of Savi or the children’s belongings are in the room and asks her about it. Savi quickly covers up, saying the room is being renovated and their things are temporarily moved to another room. She promises to bring everything in by tomorrow. Neil believes her and goes to freshen up.
After he leaves, Savi sees Teju’s photo on the drawer.
She softly vows, “Teju, I will never take your place in Neil’s life. I’ll leave once he’s fully recovered.” She then hides the photo away.
Meanwhile, Sai asks Manjari, “How long are we going to stay here? When will we go to Granny Bhagyashree’s house?”
Savi walks in and gently explains, “We’ll stay here for a few days until Neil gets better. Please call him Pookie Papa while we’re here.” Sai protests, “But Rajat is my father.” Savi patiently replies that it’s only for Neil’s sake. Sai eventually agrees. Savi then turns to Manjari and tells her she needs her support.
