The episode begins with Shlok announcing to the family that he will compile all the photographs and send them soon. Everyone appears happy. Just then, UV arrives with his cousins. Eshwar confronts him and sarcastically comments on UV’s earlier plan to elope. UV maintains that he will keep his promise, but insists on going out. The family tries to stop him, urging him not to leave, but UV remains firm in his decision. Eshwar warns him of the consequences if he dares to run away from his wedding. UV assures them that he has no such intentions—he just wants to visit his mother’s café before the wedding—and walks away with his cousins. Kailash disapproves of UV’s behavior, while Eshwar becomes more determined to change UV’s attitude.
At the college, UV gets emotional upon seeing his mother’s café. He decides to organize a grand reopening. KC meets him there and hands him the haldi plate, but informs UV that he couldn’t locate the bride’s house. Disappointed, UV leaves with the haldi, ignoring his cousins’ attempts to stop him.
Meanwhile, Katha arrives at the college to take her exams. Unaware of each other’s presence, Katha and UV bump into each other, and in the process, the haldi accidentally smears on Katha. Her face is also splashed with it. A cloth falls on both of them, momentarily covering them. When they see each other, they are both shocked.
An argument follows. UV questions Katha’s bridal attire, and Pari jokingly asks if she’s getting married. UV mocks Katha, sarcastically asking who the “loser” is that agreed to marry her. Hurt, Katha warns UV and his friends not to cross the line, stating she’s there to take her exam. Sandy reveals that today is the café’s reopening, leaving Katha stunned. UV mocks her for her earlier statements about marriage and her lack of trust in men, questioning why she’s marrying at all. Katha, visibly irritated, warns him again to mind his words. Just then, Prerna arrives and escorts Katha away. UV instructs his cousins and Sandy to spread the word about the café’s reopening. Through Sandy, he also learns that Tammy is appearing for the exam.
Meanwhile, Katha vents her frustration to Prerna about the reopening of UV’s café. She vows to take action. Prerna questions Katha’s indifference towards knowing who the groom is, but Katha remains adamant, saying she trusts that Eshwar and Mohan would never make a wrong decision for her.
Later, Katha enters the exam hall, where Mrs. Sharma questions her bridal attire. Katha quietly admits she’s getting married, which shocks Mrs. Sharma. She warns Katha about the risk of sacrificing her education, but Katha assures her she has no intention of giving up her studies. Despite her resolve, Katha feels disturbed thinking about the bond between UV and Tammy.
As the exam begins, Tammy arrives and is surprised to see Katha in wedding clothes. She begins to suspect that Katha might be marrying UV but dismisses it as impossible. However, Tammy becomes determined not to let Katha get away with her perceived interference in UV’s life. She throws a paper at Katha, which catches Mrs. Sharma’s attention. Mistaking it for cheating, Mrs. Sharma accuses Katha and decides to cancel her exam. Tammy and Rhea mock Katha, while she pleads her innocence, but Mrs. Sharma refuses to believe her.
The episode ends with Katha heartbroken, convinced that UV has intentionally trapped her. Upon seeing a pamphlet for his café reopening, she vows never to forgive him.
