The episode begins with Pari telling Tulsi that she is here on a date with Ajay. Tulsi asks if she is happy, and Pari replies that she is glad to see her mother and wishes to meet everyone, but she has some urgent work. Tulsi advises her to go home for now and promises to meet her in the evening. She also asks Pari to tell her father to take her on a “reverse date.”
Meanwhile, Mihir packs a saree to be sent to Noina, but Gayatri secretly swaps the package. She instructs Munni to place the switched parcel in Tulsi’s room and the guest room. Later, Mihir praises Tulsi’s saree in front of everyone, while Gayatri eagerly waits for the drama to unfold.
At the orphanage, Tulsi distributes gifts to the children and notices Vrinda asking the manager to give her job to someone else. Impressed by Vrinda’s selflessness, Tulsi learns that Vrinda only took the job because her brother lost his employment. Tulsi then encourages Vrinda to interview at Virani Industries, informing her that interviews are happening right now. Vrinda thanks her and rushes off.
Elsewhere, Balav Bhai shows Ritik around the factory, where Ritik is keenly learning. Ritik receives a call from Daksha, and he excitedly shows her the factory. While feeling sorry for his struggles, Daksha gives him encouragement and begins singing for him. She asks him to sing in return, and Ritik plays his guitar and sings. Everyone enjoys the performance, including Mihir, who overhears it. However, instead of being pleased, Mihir grows angry, convinced Ritik is wasting time instead of focusing on business. He scolds Ritik and instructs Balav to make him serious about work. Daksha defends Ritik, and Mihir promises her that he will stop yelling. He acknowledges Daksha as Ritik’s mother and insists Ritik must still learn the business.
Preparations for Janmashtami begin, with Ritik and Angad helping hang the pot. Tulsi warns Angad not to jump recklessly. Just then, Noina arrives, and Tulsi warmly welcomes her, surprising her with a traditional dress. Mihir then asks Tulsi to get ready.
As Daksha eats before beginning her fast, Ritik and Angad playfully tease her. Meanwhile, Noina dresses in a blue saree—the one Mihir had actually selected for Tulsi, thanks to Gayatri’s switch. Gayatri draws everyone’s attention to Noina, and both Tulsi and Mihir are stunned to see her in Tulsi’s saree. Noina proudly asks everyone how she looks, complimenting Tulsi’s “choice.” Mihir, angry at the mix-up, is about to tell Noina the saree was meant for Tulsi, but Tulsi stops him, saying it must be a misunderstanding. Gayatri supports Tulsi, suggesting she wear the other saree instead.
Elsewhere, Pari reads Ranvijay’s posts before Ajay enters. Ajay asks about her family, and Pari, shocked, admits she only met her mother. Ajay assures her that soon she will meet everyone. When Ajay tries to touch her, Pari grows uneasy and behaves strangely.
Munni nearly tells Noina about the saree mix-up, but Gayatri stops her and instead explains the confusion herself. Tulsi wears the other saree, and Noina apologizes for the mistake, but Tulsi brushes it off, saying, “It’s just a saree.” Gayatri, however, secretly thinks that one day Tulsi will have to share Mihir too.
Later, everyone waits for Pari and Ajay. Noina tells Mihir that Pari is stuck in traffic but will arrive soon. She then playfully complains to Tulsi about Mihir, calling him overly efficient. Mihir proudly defends himself and asks Tulsi for support, to which Tulsi smiles and replies that her husband is indeed very smart.
